Boys & Girls Cross Country Championship Meet - Sept. 27 (9:30) @ Brownsburg
Coach Maggie Nobbe's defending State Champion Zionsville Eagles are
the 2025 HCC girls Golf champions. The Eagles shot a blistering 292, setting a new HCC meet record over the challenging Bear Slide course. The previous record of 294 was set two years ago by the Westfield Shamrocks.
Zionsville was led by sophomore Taylor Sniveley's 68, which tied her with Westfield's Kelsey Haverluck (Sr) for second place. Other Zionsville scores were freshman Olivia Patton and junior Paige Henney, both with a 74 and tied for 7th place. Additionally, senior Amaya Wade carded a 76, which was good for an 11th place tie.
Senior Janelle Garcia of Hamilton Southeastern became the Royal's fifth individual champion shooting a 4-under 67. That ties the second lowest score ever with Samantha Brown from Westfield. Brown owns the record at 5-under, set in 2023.
The Zionsville victory ended Westfield's string of 5 consecutive HCC championships. The championship is Zionsville's fourth overall. Westfield and Hamilton Southeastern lead the HCC with 7 total championships.

The head coaches of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference voted the following coaches as the HCC Spring Coaches of the Year.

After finishing runner-up the last 3 years, Coach Josh Bryant's Shamrocks dominated the field claiming the school's 4th Boys State Golf Championship.
Westfield set a new 36 hole total of 568 breaking the old record by 5 strokes. Also, by defeating runner-up Homestead by 30 strokes a new margin of victory record was established.
Other Westfield scores were 5th place Jake Cesare 140 (-4), 8th place Ryan Cesare 144 (E), 13th place Hudson Kutchma 153 (+9) and 45th place Mitchell Keene 157 (+13).
In addition to Westfield's state championship, other HCC schools with strong finishes were Noblesville 3rd (600), Zionsville 4th (601) and Hamilton Southeastern 9th (626).
Will Harvey made it a clean sweep with his 135 (-9) score for medalist honors and also being named the prestigious Mental Attitude Award recipient.
Harvey's 135 tied the IHSAA State Golf Tournament record.
Coach Julie Alano's Hamilton Southeastern Royals finished a close second behind Champion Carmel (54-46) at the IHSAA State Girls Track & Field Meet.
The Royals were led by the 4 X 400 m Relay Team of Ciara Kepner, Chloe Senefeld, Addison Smith and Anissa Lammie who finished first with an outstanding time of 3:46.26.
Hamilton Southeastern senior Elizabeth Butler was awarded the prestigious Mental Attitude Award.
Other champions for the HCC were by Brownsburg's 4 X 100 m Relay Team (Amiah Hamilton, Nife Ogunleye, Angelique Howgate & Izzy Neal) and Zionsville's Omema Anyanwu in the 400 meters.

Coach Matthew Cherry's Fishers Tigers won their 4th HCC Baseball Championship. The Tigers finished HCC play with an outstanding 12-2 record.
The title is Fishers' first since 2021-22. Brownsburg leads all HCC schools with 6 baseball titles followed by Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville with 5.

Coach Mike Garrett's' Zionsville Eagles won their first Softball title in the 25 year history of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference.
The Eagles finished their difficult HCC schedule with a 6-1 record.
Hamilton Southeastern and Avon are tied for the lead with 7 Softball championships.

Coach Patrick Schooley's Fishers Tigers won the 2025 Unified Track & Field title. The Tigers edged 2nd place Westfield 111-101. It is Fishers' 2nd consecutive championship and 4th since the first HCC Unified Track & Field Meet in 2017.

Coach Garrett Winegar's Fishers Tigers lost a heartbreaking 67-66 decision in OT in the state championship game. The Tigers were going for their 2nd consecutive state title. The loss snapped an incredible 43 game win steak for the 30-1 Tigers.
Coach Darrick Snyder's Brownsburg Bulldogs won their 2nd consecutive
state title scoring a record 243 points with a record tying 7 individual state champions.
Individual champions for the Bulldogs were: Traevon Ducking (106); Case Bell (113); Revin Dickman (120); Jake Hockaday (132); Tommy Gibbs (144); Parker Reynolds (150) and Gunner Henry (190).
It was Jake Hockaday's 4th Individual IHSAA State Championship.
Other Bulldog wrestlers with strong finishes were Braylon Reynolds (2nd @ 138); Caden Brewer (3rd @ 215); Maximus Forrester (3rd @ 285) and Mason Day (4th @ 157).
Nate Rioux of Avon won the individual title at 126.
